About Us

Monster Island’s Potential Energy is a brother and sister duo from the Akron and Cleveland area who believe in the power of handmade, homegrown fun.

We offer cost-effective solutions aligned to the educational standards our students desperately need.

We create educational products for kids in the following three categories: Curriculum-Based Kits, Interactive Books, and Costumes. 

Curriculum-Based Kits involve products that cater to the multiple learning strategies present in the classroom. These kits are cross-disciplinary and intend to meet as many of the Ohio educational standards as possible for a given unit. The current educational system is ineffective in engaging the students with the subject matter, specifically math and science. These kits solve that problem by focusing on the student’s needs with the understanding of the necessity of art in the scientific discovery.

Interactive books include items that encourage students to get up and be active. They are also designed to meet the Ohio educational standards. The books come with a prop to help students use their imagination. The focus of the books is math and science topics currently taught in the classroom.

Costume products are objects that cater to the children’s familiarity of the weird and wonderful nature of monsters. They are items that allow children of all ages to role-play and make use of their potential creativity. The costumes are also infused with an educational theme.

Our mission is to make learning fun again. We create educational, interactive games, lesson plans, and activities designed to get students up and moving. Our goal is to change the attitude of learning from dull and boring to exciting and fun. And to inspire the next generation of leaders to think outside the box.
